REFUND & CANCELLATION
Wildd Photography – Sydney, Australia
This policy applies to all bookings, services, digital products, prints, albums, and content days purchased through Wildd Photography.
By making a booking or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy. Payment constitutes acceptance of a binding service agreement.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Consumer Law Notice
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to remedies if:

A service is not provided with due care and skill
-
A service is not provided within a reasonable time
-
A product has a major failure
-
A product is not of acceptable quality
Refunds are not provided for change of mind.
Wildd Photography will provide remedies strictly as required under ACL.
2. Deposits & Booking Fees
-
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure all session bookings and Content Days.
-
No date or time is reserved until the deposit is received.
-
Deposits represent a genuine pre-estimate of loss, including studio time allocation, preparation, administration, and the opportunity cost of declining other bookings.
-
Deposits are non-transferable to other clients or promotions.
3. Balance Payments
-
Remaining balances must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
-
Failure to pay may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Once a session has commenced, all fees become fully earned and non-refundable.
Service commencement includes (but is not limited to):
-
Pre-session planning
-
Creative direction
-
Studio preparation
-
The scheduled session time
-
Image capture
4. Cancellations – Standard Sessions
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
More than 7 days before session:
The deposit may be transferred once to a future date (subject to availability).
Within 7 days:
The deposit is forfeited.
Within 48 hours or no-show:
All payments made are forfeited in full.
Failure to attend a scheduled session constitutes service commencement and forfeits all payments.
5. Rescheduling – Standard Sessions

One complimentary reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours’ written notice.

Additional reschedules incur a non-refundable $100 rescheduling fee.
-
Requests made under 24 hours may be treated as cancellation.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and studio approval.
6. Content Days
Due to the limited-capacity and event-based structure of Content Days:

All Content Day bookings are final.
-
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
Individual rescheduling is not permitted.
-
Failure to attend results in forfeiture of all payments.
If Wildd Photography cancels a Content Day due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, clients will be offered:
-
A rescheduled date, or
-
A studio credit.
7. Digital Products & Custom Work
Photography services and digital files are custom-made and personalised.
Once digital images, galleries, albums, or prints are delivered:
-
All sales are final.
-
No refunds, exchanges, or re-edits will be provided for stylistic preference, subjective dissatisfaction, or change of mind.
Approval of proofs constitutes acceptance of the final product.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing payment, you agree:

To contact Wildd Photography directly to resolve any concerns prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
-
That initiating a chargeback for services rendered, time reserved, digital products delivered, or cancellations within policy constitutes a breach of agreement.
Wildd Photography retains:
-
Signed agreements
-
Booking confirmations
-
Payment records
-
Communication records
-
Delivery confirmation of digital products
These may be submitted to financial institutions in response to chargeback disputes.
Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
ADDITIONAL CLAUSES
9. Force Majeure
Wildd Photography shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform services where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, injury, government restrictions, venue closure, natural disasters, severe weather, equipment failure beyond control, third-party cancellations, or transport disruption.
In such circumstances, Wildd Photography may:

Reschedule the booking, or
-
Issue studio credit, or
Force majeure does not entitle the client to compensation beyond the amount paid.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Wildd Photography’s total liability for any claim arising out of services or products shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that specific booking.

Wildd Photography is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of income, business interruption, emotional distress, or reputational harm.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Media Usage & Copyright
Wildd Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images created.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the client grants Wildd Photography a perpetual, royalty-free license to use images for:

Portfolio display
-
Website content
-
Social media
-
Advertising and promotional purposes
Clients who require privacy must submit a written request prior to their session.
Clients may not alter, heavily edit, apply filters to, commercially resell, or reproduce images without written consent from Wildd Photography.
